           Welcome to the new Expression Records online shop . The new site will be up and running imminently with lots of exciting new features and free download opportunities . Meanwhile, the shop can take care of any musical shopping whims you might have. As per usual most physical CDs are signed by Phil Manzanera but now, for the first time and exclusively here, a selection of signed Robert Wyatt CDs will be available ! As the months progress loads more interesting whimsy will become available across all mediums.

            2008-9 will see the re-release of Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera’s complete back catalogue of 22 albums. The albums will be released on Manzanera’s own label Expression Records ,in a newly packaged ‘Collectors Edition’ format. All 22 albums will be available in shops ,as downloads and as signed copies from Manzanera is also releasing two new exciting and musically very diverse albums: Corroncho, a Spanish language concept album about the life and times of two “Corronchos” from Barranquilla (Corroncho being the name given by the people from Bogota ,the capital of Colombia,to those from the Caribbean coast). and Firebird V11, a guitar instrumental album, taking up where Quiet Sun and 801 live left off in the 70s,with the participation of Quiet Sun and This Heat’s Charles Hayward, Yaron Stavi from Gilad Atzmon’s band and Ledzek Mozdzer, the acclaimed Polish jazz/classical pianist. The first of these releases is a retrospective, titled ‘Phil Manzanera , The Music 1972-2008’. This is a 2 disc music and 1 dvd set, which starts with Phil’s first recorded track ‘Amazona’ with Roxy Music and ends in 2007 with ‘Enotonik Bible Black’ from his last solo album ‘50 minutes later’. The dvd includes a brand new 24 minute documentary called Revolution to Roxy which includes footage taken in Havana in 1959 during the revolution and unseen Roxy Music footage.

        November also sees the re-release of ‘Christmas-The Players’, an all instrumental acoustic album of traditional Christmas carols produced and led by fellow Roxy music band member Andy Mackay.
